Oh...how I have missed you all so very much!! I wanted to pass on the information for our sweet Angel, Dylan. His viewing is tomorrow (Friday) from 6-9pm at the Ogden West Stake Center 2200 S. 4300 W. West Haven, Utah. It is about an hour from my house to get there. Brandon and I will be arriving there right at 6:00 p.m. (maybe even a little earlier) because it will be packed! I know that Mand would love to see you girlies as would I. Clear Eyes...Full Hearts...Can't Lose

It has been awhile, but as I promised...I am not going anywhere. So that means that you will randomly get my crazy antics every once in a while:) Not sure why I never watched this show (considering it is one of my kinds of shows), but I started watching it the day I told you cute amazing girls that I wouldn't be coaching. This show has the best line in the WORLD...why didn't we think of it ha ha?? Clear Eyes...Full Hearts...Can't Lose.

Well this line applies to all of us. We are all in a new chapter of life; Graduation, College, New Team, New School Year, New Boyfriends, New Friends, New Coach, and everything in between!! And if we do things in our life with clear eyes and full hearts with loads and loads of love...we will never lose!! I believe in every single one of you, I know that you whatever you chose to do you are going to do it AMAZINGLY!! You are going to be some incredibly shining stars...don't lose touch with me!! I will plan a fun get together this summer especially before our cutest GRADUATED seniors go off into the amazing World!!

I just want to start off by saying how much I love this team and how proud I am of each and single one of you. You are the most incredible young women I have ever known and I look forward to seeing your grow up. And you can't get rid of me I am a part of your life for FOREVER!! FRIDAY APRIL 29 Practice for Dancing for Dylan: 6:45 a.m. PLEASE PRACTICE WE ARE DOING DANCE!! There are A LOT of dancers that will be attending this and it is an HONOR to be performing on behalf of their family! I want to make sure that we look amazing so we can show Mandy how amazing we are...because we are pretty amazing!!! I am really looking forward to this performance and I think it will be an amazing way to end your year!!

MAY 1 TEAM BANQUET

MONDAY MAY 2 PRACTICE 6:45 A.M. PLEASE CAR POOL TO LAYTON. I WILL BE THERE MOST OF THE DAY HELPING SET UP SO I WILL BE ALL OVER THE PLACE SO I WILL NEED YOU YOU GUYS TO BE PREPARED AT ALL TIMES. REMEMBER THIS IS FOR DYLAN:) I am not sure what time we need to be to Northridge but I would imagine between 4:30-5:30. I will let you know when I know. You need to be ready. Please look very professional; Odyssey Dance ad tons of studios will be there. Please have your hair slicked in a left sided part with a low STRAIGHT pony tail. Please come in your tights, wear your warm-ups, toms shoes, and your pink PRAY FOR US. Bring your 2 unitards and I will have your hair piece...bring bobby pins please...this will be awesome!!

Also we are going to do Costume Check in on Wed. May 4 at 7:00 a.m. PLEASE HAVE EVERYTHING or I will have the school put a hold on year books, grades, etc. Follow the directions carefully

MILITARY

**Fill a tub or a sink with Woolite and cold water and soak the costume, rinse it out and lay to dry**

• Military Jacket (Hanger. Put Name on the inside of the Jacket with masking tape)
• Silver Hairpiece (Plastic Bag)

Dance

• Unitard (Hanger. Name on the inside with tape. Please wash GENTLE CYCLE, INSIDE OUT in COLD water and lay to dry)

Officers

• Striped Top (Hanger. Name on the inside with tape. Please wash GENTLE CYCLE, INSIDE OUT in COLD water and lay to dry)
• Striped Scarf (Please wash and un-safety pin.Please fold NICELY and put in a plastic bag and attach it to your Striped Top hanger)
• Black Belt (don’t wash, plastic bag NICELY)

KICK

• Turquoise Top (Hanger. Fill a tub or a sink with Woolite and cold water and soak the costume, rinse it out and lay to dry)
• Skirt (Wash and fold NICELY in a plastic bag)
• 2 Booties (Folded NICELY and put in a plastic bag)

BOTTOMS

• Short Unitard (WASH. Hanger. Name on the inside with tape)
• Military Unitard (WASH. Hanger. Name on the inside with tape)

JEWELS & Misc. Costumes

• 2 Wrist Jewels, 1 Neck (Please put in plastic bad NICELY, put your name on the bag and also put how many jewels are missing)
• Intro Dance Turq. Costume (Hanger. Name on the inside with tape. Please wash GENTLE CYCLE, INSIDE OUT in COLD water and lay to dry)
• Intro Turq. arm bands (don’t wash, plastic bag NICELY)

I can't believe that we are gearing up for our YEAR END SHOW AND NATIONALS!!! So here is the info for Tuesday:) Now remember we are practicing READY TO DANCE at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow (MONDAY) we are NOT practicing Tuesday morning but I need to see you READY (HAIR, EYE LASHES, MAKE-UP) 4:00 p.m. in the GYM Tuesday afternoon. Please wear the following on Tuesday:

• Warm-Ups
• SL Design Shirt w/UNSTOPPABLE on the back.

Please make sure that you pack your costumes and quadruple check them:) Follow your regular competition costume check-off, but remember what you wear for Intro dance: Costume you wore for the original 1/2 time performance of camp dance, fish nets, black shoes, and your Military hair piece.

**SENIORS remember you are keeping your Unitard on and adding some of YOU with it**

HAIR FOR YEAR END SHOW AND NATIONALS: SLICKED (I want it to look like it is wet), left part LOW center bun with hair piece. You will wear all of your hair pieces on the same side that you wore them at competition.

Oh MY GOODNESS!!!

We are on...we have a lot to get done in the next couple of weeks!! Your year end show is on the 22 and you will need to be to JD pretty much after school. You will be helping set up and then you will go get ready so we can get some pictures taken before people come in!! Please make sure that your costumes are in the BEST CONDITION and you have to be completely organized because sometimes you only have 1 routine to change!! Please make sure you look over the following:

1. Videos are on YOUTUBE please don't look at the Senior Dance unless you are a Senior:) YOU HAVE TO PRACTICE SO ON TUESDAY WE ARE READY TO GO. SOLOS MUST BE DONE AND YOU MUST KNOW THE INTRO ROUTINE!! Also PLEASE go over all of your other routines:)

2. Practice is on Tuesday 6:00 a.m. I am planning on starting with Hip Hop, Military, Dance, Kick, Intro Dance then Officers, and Seniors:) It is going to be an intense practice for a couple days as we build your endurance:)

3. Please get BoyLiners and please go over it with them because on our Saturday Practice we only have 90 min with them:)

I am so excited for the rest of this year...I CAN'T WAIT for Nationals. Please remember that Nationals is for our team and it is all about fun and dancing. We are going to be busy, but that is how we get it all in! I can't tell you happy I am that I get to go and be my fun playing self in Disney and I just fill up with tears knowing that I get to experience Wicked with ALL OF YOU!! And to be a part of the first JD Drill Team to compete at Nationals is SO AMAZING...I am so excited to experience it with you!!

Just a reminder...you NEED to practice and remember those Camp Dance Sections I told you about:)

**Thursday Practice starts right at 5:30 WEAR YOUR THURSDAY PRACTICE TOP...ALSO DON'T FORGET SOME KIND OF BASKETBALL SHORTS TO WEAR ONCE THE BOYS GET THERE** We will start by running (yea) and then jump quickly into Intro/Camp Dance. The version of the song is the newer upbeat version of More. The dance will have a lot of camp dance and you all getting 1 set of 8 of your own stuff:) We will practice from 5:30-to about 6:45/6:55 TELL YOUR JD BOYS TO BE TO THE GYM READY TO START DANCING AT 7:00 P.M. we are done at 8:00 p.m. They practice again with us on our Saturday Practice. Same rules apply, if you are on time YOU ARE LATE!! I would hate to have to enforce rules before our Year End Show and NATIONALS!!!

**Seniors you are practicing that next Friday Morning 3/11 from 6:00am-7:30am we are starting right at 6:00 we have to get the routine taught, we will record so you can practice!! love you and I forgot to tell you that you are staying for forever:)

Hello Girls!!

Oh my goodness...we are going to NATIONALS!! Can you believe it? We are going to KILL IT and I am so excited that it will be an amazing ending to our incredible year!! I am asking you this because I know you all...very well!! PLEASE PRACTICE ALL OF YOUR ROUTINES...THINK ABOUT HOW YOU FELT EVEN THE WEEK OF STATE GETTING THROUGH YOUR ROUTINES AND WE HAVEN'T DANCED TOGETHER SINCE FEB. 5....and we haven't done Officers and Hip Hop for awhile AND I sped everything up. So please please practice for all of our sakes:) Make sure that all of your costumes are in order and that you are just READY because once we start practicing we are on and I want you all to enjoy the rest of this year together.

I am extremely emotional at this time. I have so many fe

elings and memories that I am kind of stuck in this self

ish space of really not wanting this year to end. I hope that you all have had such an amazing experience and I hope that you know that I will do anything for any of you at any time of your life. This program has been made to establish respect and a

competitive spirit, but we have developed a program that is centered around love, respect, and sisterhood. I can promise you this...you can't find that in a lot of programs!! And it is because of all of YOU!! Drill Team is so much more than dancing...I look back on my experience of Drill Team and I realize every single day some kind of lesson that I learned while being on it. I can't go through a day without thinking about all of you and lately I shed a few tears along with it. This experience is a journey; we have our goods and we have our bads and we have moments like at Region when we all came together. I will never forget hearing you girls say this:

I am so proud of each and every one of you and I love having the opportunity to spend time with you and watch you grow into such beautiful dancers. BUT my most favorite this is being able to spend time with you, watching you struggle, watching you succeed, and most of all watching you turn into the most beautiful girls inside and out. I am so lucky to have this job and have the opportunity that I do to spend with you!! Please continue to be the beacons of light at your school and SHINE on!!! Just know we are amazing and one of a kind!!!
